Laparelli Gardens

J&J Gauci Granite was proud to be part of the transformation of the historic Laparelli Gardens, located in the ditch below Valletta’s City Gate bastions. This prestigious project involved the supply and installation of Maltese Hardstone, a material that perfectly complements the rich heritage of this iconic location.

Our scope of work included several key features:

3D Wall: A standout element of the garden, this 3D wall was meticulously crafted using Maltese Hardstone, creating a visually striking and texturally dynamic surface that enhances the overall aesthetic.

Wooden Benches: We integrated custom-made wooden benches into the garden design, offering a comfortable place to sit and enjoy the surroundings while harmonizing with the natural stonework.

Hardstone Stepped Feature: A unique stepped feature made entirely from Maltese Hardstone, adding depth and a sense of movement to the landscape design.

Hardstone Walls: The garden’s perimeter and supporting structures were constructed using solid Maltese Hardstone, reflecting the durability and timeless appeal of this local material.

The Laparelli Gardens project showcases our commitment to delivering high-quality craftsmanship and using locally sourced materials to bring architectural visions to life. Our work here contributes to the revitalisation of Valletta’s historic landscape, merging modern functionality with traditional Maltese design elements.
